Sessional Project Worker(s)

 

Area: Aylesbury Vale & Chiltern Districts

 

Fixed term: Initially 4 months

 

Hours: Casual (up to 12 hours per week)

 

Salary: £8.89 per hour

 

Aylesbury Youth Action is a local charity which aims to improve life chances for young people aged 14-25 through volunteering opportunities, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their community.

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support young people volunteering on community based projects.  These include projects with children, the elderly and people with disabilities.  The role would particularly suit a creative and flexible individual who enjoys working with young people and has relevant experience of working in voluntary or community settings.

 

Projects take place out of school time therefore hours of work will be after school, holidays and occasional weekends.  Depending on skills and availability this role could be suitable for one individual or shared between two or three people.
