Aylesbury Youth Action (AYA) provide opportunities for young people, aged 14-24, to volunteer in the local community. The activities are fun and challenging, ranging from projects with children and people with disabilities to sports and creative arts and most things in between. If we haven't got a project that interests you, then why not start one! Volunteering in the community enables you to have fun, meet new people, learn new skills and make a difference in the lives of those around you. Volunteering with AYA also helps you to have a voice and influence people who make decisions in our lives. You can also gain recognition, certificates and awards for the volunteering that you do. As well as the prestigious AYA Awards, we are also a registered Sports Leaders UK and Arts Award Centre. |

SPORTS LEADERS COURSE |
|
This is a great opportunity to learn leadership skills as well as gaining a nationally recognised qualification from Sports Leaders UK. The course emphasis is very much on learning through doing rather than written work. There are still spaces available on this terms course, or you can sign up now for the next course starting in the autumn. SUMMER PROJECTS |

Our Summer projects include creating a 960 square foot piece of public art, working with children and young people with disabilities, conservation and gardening days, and more.... You can sign up to do as much or as little as you want, with many of our projects ranging from a few hours to full day sessions. For more information on our summer programme please click here. |
